The towns around Our Lake are located in Hickory and Polk counties.
 
 
Cross Timbers: Established in 1871 and known for their historical 1847 Post office which still remains.
 
Flemington: Known for their historical Butterfield Overland Mail route, stockyards and churches.
 
Hermitage: The county seat of Hickory, named after Andrew Jackson's home in Tennessee. Known for historical sites on the National Historic Register.
 
Humansville: Founded in 1833 and established in 1872 proud owners of a beautiful natural spring called "Big Spring."
 
Preston: Previously known as "Black Jack" and currently known for heritage annual celebrations "Preston Days."
 
Wheatland: Known for its "Settler's Village" of log buildings and its raceway.
 
Weaubleau: Known for its fabric outlet store and Antique shops.
 
Bolivar: Is roughly only 20 minutes from the property and they have just about everything you would need - Super Walmart, Aldi's, Lumber & Hardware Stores and many more.
 
Buffalo: Is rougly 30 minutes from the property and they have a smaller list of stores but you could get the things you would need - Walmart, Save -A- Lot and a Lumber & Hardware store.
